Abstract

The background of this research is the global urgency to achieve sustainable household financial stability and well-being, particularly in Muslim communities that require access to ethical and inclusive Sharia-compliant financial services. Digital transformation has made Sharia-compliant Financial Inclusion (SFI) a crucial foundation, which must be supported by individuals' self-regulation (SRI) capabilities to control consumption and investment behavior. The primary objective of this study is to analyze and verify the influence of SFI supported by digital platforms and SFI on Muslim Household Financial Management (MKRT), as well as to frame its impact on Sustainable Financial Resilience. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive-associative approach. Data were collected from 100 Muslim household heads in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, which serves as a representative case study for the urban population of Southeast Asia. The research findings show that both the Islamic Finance System (IKS) (especially those accessed through digital channels) and the Regional Financial System (RD) have a positive and significant impact on household financial management (MKRT). Increasing digital access to Sharia services, combined with strong self-control, has been shown to be key pillars in building a resilient household financial system. In conclusion, strengthening digital capabilities and educating about self-regulation are crucial interventions that can ensure that MKRT contributes to humanitarian development goals and economic sustainability, in line with Islamic ethical values in the region.
