Abstract

In the current era of digital transformation, technological literacy and financial inclusion have become crucial competencies for all levels of society, where integrative and adaptive instruction is viewed as a creative strategy to enhance economic independence. This research is motivated by the persistently low accessibility of banking services for persons with disabilities in Indonesia, whereas previous studies have predominantly focused on general operational efficiency without evaluating the impact of digital inclusion on the motor and psychomotor independence of vulnerable groups. This study aims to analyze the extent to which accessibility and digital inclusion in Indonesian Islamic banking support the needs of persons with disabilities. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study methods and secondary data analysis from financial authority reports, this research explores the use of financial technology (FinTech) assistive devices. The results indicate that the digitalization of Islamic banking has a significant positive impact on both physical and non-physical accessibility, although the lack of standardized disability-friendly infrastructure remains a primary inhibiting variable. The findings also reveal that without specific regulatory support, advanced technology does not optimally influence their financial literacy. In conclusion, strengthening regulations and providing inclusive digital features are urgent to achieve economic justice. These results imply the need for synergy between government policies and banking innovation to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)..
